Despite the perceived negative reation towards breed generally by a body of people using social sites like twatter and arsepage who would appear to have little or no knowledge of dogs or genetics. Problems are bound to be encountered as we are probably only in fifth or sixth generation and there were not enough bloodlines available to try eradicate some of the problems. This is discussed in more detail in www.slovakianroughhairedpointers.com From my point of view I hope to obtain a dog (male) from Slovakia later in the year as the dam is a bitch I bred that has been mated to Weimaraner from the Czech republic.
